When Life Hands You a Football

I’m not a football expert but I do love watching the Superbowl (and the commercials) every year. There is nothing like watching a football game and seeing a strong 4th quarter comeback.
One of the best all time 4th quarter comebacks is the story of Vince Papale. This 30-year-old who was a part-time divorced bar tender tried out for the Philadelphia Eagles in 1976. It was open try outs for a city that was seeing a lot of companies shutting down and striking. It was very hard times for the city. Vince is the underdog who wins the game for the Eagles in the 4th quarter. If you have not seen the movie Invincible it is a true story with so many life lessons. Great 70’s music too.
We are not in a football game but in the 4th quarter of the year. How has this year been for you? Feeling a bit like Vince the underdog or Vince the champion? Champions are made in the 4th quarter. Destinies are determined in the 4th quarter.
As we head into fall, living the FASTer Way lifestyle is more important than ever before. The holiday season can be stressful and chaotic with over or under eating, full schedules, treats around every corner and flu season. I encourage you to consider ending your 4th quarter healthier then you began your 1st quarter. Cement this lifestyle before all the festivities begin. And you will love looking and feeling great at all your holiday parties.
