Feeling beautiful is a choice, YOU get to choose!
Jul 31, 2024Are you ready to make some decisions? The decision that you are beautiful just as you are? I know we don’t always feel good about ourselves. But if you don’t love yourself as you are now, change will not happen for you. I know the better you feel the better everything gets. So, let’s make some decisions today on how to feel good NOW.
Choose to be your own kind of beautiful and when you decide that you are, the energy that you give off is totally different.
Unfortunately, a lot of women are driven by fear and give into the unrealistic beauty standards, to be more “beautiful”, but the truth is that confidence is the most beautiful thing about a woman.
Here are my 5 tips for feeling more beautiful and confident:
#1 – Go on a DIET!
I’m talking about a “media diet”. That includes social media and the news. Spend less time online and more time outside in nature. I’m sure you are not aware of how much media can negatively impact you – until you are away from it. Give it a try.
#2 – Create an “I Love Me” List
Write down 5 things you like or love about yourself. Keep a journal and add to it every day. How are others supposed to like or love you if you don’t love yourself first? The more you add to this list the better you start to feel. It will get easier.
#3- Learn to accept and appreciate your body.
Learning to accept and appreciate your body is a journey of self-love and kindness. Start by focusing on what your body can do rather than how it looks. Celebrate its strength, resilience, and the amazing things it allows you to experience. Practice gratitude for your health and abilities and remind yourself that everybody is unique and beautiful in its own way. Embrace your imperfections as part of what makes you uniquely you. Be gentle with yourself and remember that true beauty comes from self-confidence and self-respect.
#4 – Always treat yourself and your body with respect
Always treat yourself and your body with respect by nurturing it with care and kindness. Listen to your body’s needs, fuel it with nourishing foods, and give it the rest and exercise it deserves. Speak to yourself with compassion, acknowledging your strength and achievements. Set boundaries that protect your well-being and prioritize activities that bring you joy and fulfillment. Remember, respecting your body means valuing yourself and recognizing your worth. Treat yourself with the same kindness and consideration you would extend to a loved one, because you deserve nothing less.
#5 – Avoid comparing yourself to other people
Avoid comparing yourself to others by focusing on your own journey and unique qualities. Remember that everyone has their own path, strengths, and challenges. Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small, and recognize the progress you’ve made. Practice gratitude for what you have and who you are. Instead of comparing, use others as inspiration to set personal goals. Remember, your worth is not determined by others’ accomplishments or appearances. Embrace your individuality and focus on becoming the best version of yourself, celebrating your unique journey and experiences.
Remember, your true beauty shines brightest when you embrace your authentic self. Radiate confidence, kindness and your unique essence.
