Cherish and Challenge in May
May 17, 2023There is so much to cherish about the month of May. Having ambitious goals doesn’t mean you stop noticing the small things in life. These small things can help build a foundation for you to reach higher goals.
Here are seven small things I CHERISH with gratitude in May:
- Staying light longer at night.
- Being outdoors and chatting with neighbors.
- A cool breeze to brush off my worries.
- Sunlight to revitalize my mind.
- Fresh food at the farmers market to fuel my body.
- Wearing brighter colored clothing.
- All the beautiful flowers, plants and trees that awaken my senses.
As we take time to cherish this month, let it also challenge us to become a better version of ourselves.
Here are seven CHALLENGES to attempt this summer. Select one or two in May, June, July and August to make your summer months the very best months of the year.
- Limit your daily to-do list to three things.
- Adopt a healthy habit.
- Explore a new place.
- Clean out your sock drawer.
- Delete emails and pictures no longer needed.
- Make a new dish using only fresh ingredients.
- Plan a girls night with those special friends you need to spend more time with.
Don’t waste these lovely days of May. Enjoy each minute by doing what you love with the people you love.
